Lizards are usually easy to bait or jump over, the tiki traps are simple, this game gives you way more rocks/skulls to trigger arrows, and while the moles are fast, looking upwards at the ceiling if you remember you left one alive will greatly reduce the odds of getting missile'd from above. While the Dwelling is likely to give you a packed seed, all of the stuff is kinda predictable after a certain point. So just because I had a bad dwelling, I don't necessarily feel like I should reset and do it over.Īt the end of the day, a lot of people share this sentiment, so I wouldn't be surprised if it gets updated.

This game in general, I feel like it's much easier to obtain lots of HP after the dwelling (kali seems more generous.tame a rock dog in the mines and cook every turkey you see), so even if I get through it with only 1/2 HP left, I feel a bit more confident than I did in the first game. Maybe sometimes mix it up and use a shortcut (if you have any), try experimenting/looking for secrets in a different place. I find every other area in the game much more interesting than the dwelling. I always try to blow up/spike shoes the rolling miniboss for a guaranteed 1HP and three bombs. They can be cumbersome to use sometimes but always worth it imo. I always take a mount whenever I can, since they absorb dumb damage, save you from spikes, fall damage, improve your jumping, and if it's a turkey I'll normally wait until it's dead to cook it for the 1HP. It's definitely harder, and being in that area for too long seems to cause fatigue in a lot of players, me included.
